Help – I Want To Eat A Balanced Diet!

At school, we are all taught about the importance of eating a balanced diet. But as we grow older, we tend to forget about this. We eat what we want to eat and what will fulfil our hunger. But sometimes there comes a point where we want to eat a balanced diet once more but have forgotten what a balanced diet consists of.

It’s important to remember that eating a balanced diet is not only about eating healthy food. A balanced diet needs to have a full balance of every food group to ensure you are getting the correct nutrients from every food group. So whilst healthy items like fruit and vegetable take a big chunk of your diet, there is still the ability to eat sugary foods, the option to eat fatty foods, meats and more. You need to ensure you are eating all of these food groups to keep yourself healthy and maintain your bodies health.
